Accessibility statement

Our commitment

Wells Software Consulting LLC wants everyone who runs a store, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard, magnification or voice control, to be able to use TagGap. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Scope

  • Every page of taggap.com, including the free tracking scan, the ad link checker, fix guides and legal pages.
  • The TagGap app inside Shopify admin.

Conformance status

Partially conformant: the content we build meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA as far as our testing shows. A few parts come from third parties and are outside our control (listed below).

How we test

  • Every change is checked automatically with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 A and AA, in both light and dark mode, before it ships.
  • Automated checks for reflow at 320 px, increased text spacing, a 24 px minimum target size, and keyboard focus order and visibility.
  • Keyboard tests of the scan, link checker and app flows: focus order, Enter and Escape, and where focus goes after an error.
  • We use semantic HTML and do not use an accessibility overlay.

Known limitations

  • The bot check on the free scan and link checker is Cloudflare Turnstile. It usually passes without any interaction; when it asks for a check, that widget is Cloudflare's. If it blocks you, email us the store address or link and we will run the check for you.
  • Pages we link to but don't run, such as the Shopify App Store listing and Google's and Meta's sign-in and consent screens, follow their owners' accessibility policies.

If something on taggap.com or in the app is hard to use, or you need any of our policies in another format, email hello@taggap.com. Tell us the page and what happened. We aim to reply within two business days.

For merchants in the EU

TagGap is a business-to-business service for merchants. It is read-only and adds nothing to your storefront, checkout or anything your shoppers see, so installing it does not change your own storefront's accessibility.
